Equipping a sensory room in the Sanatorium Boarding School No. 21 in Pushcha-Voditsa (Kyiv).
Problem
The request for room equipment was received from the director of the boarding school, Lidia Moroz. The list of necessary equipment and simulators was compiled by the speech therapist Oksana Santai, who has extensive experience working with children with special needs.
Report
Together with you, we raised 136,468 UAH to equip a sensory room for the rehabilitation of children with psychoneurological disorders at the Sanatorium Boarding School No. 21 in Pushcha-Vodytsia.
The expenses for the purchase of equipment, simulators, and logistics amounted to 121,500 UAH, and the remaining 14,968 UAH were transferred to our next project for the Sanatorium Boarding School No. 21 — “Greenhouse + Park.”
Now, 180 children have the opportunity to work out on modern simulators and maintain their mental, emotional, and intellectual development.
The method of sensory integration is one of the latest comprehensive therapeutic methods used for children with psychomotor delays, speech disorders, and learning difficulties.
We sincerely thank everyone who helped us implement this project!
